Dear Parents and Players,
My name is Danny Venne and I’m truly honoured to have been named as Head Coach for this U11 Aces hockey team.
My coaching background includes:
- Assistant coach, U10 Aces last season,
- I helped develop a non-profit development program for local hockey players born in 2015
- Coach Pembroke minor hockey U7 and U9 programs
- Assistant coach, Arnprior Packers Jr.b hockey club (2002-2003 season)
I have also taught at various hockey schools and also taught power skating for one year. I am also a Certified Personal Trainer certified through the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology and graduated from Kinesiology at Ottawa University.
Together, with our dedicated coaching staff, I am confident that our team will have a fun, competitive, and successful 2025-26 season. Our focus will be on player development, team tactics/strategies, while also teaching valuable life lessons through the best game in the world, hockey.
I will demand the values of respect, honesty, accountability, and hard work from everyone on the team.
We will be competing in the following tournaments:
1. Peterborough Pat Larock Memorial Tournament (Sept.19-21)
2. Hull Provincial M11 Tournament (Nov.7-9)
3. Northumberland Silver Stick (Dec.5-7)
4. Taylor Hall Classic in Kingston (Jan.9-11)
Our tryout schedule will be at the myFM Centre Recreation Complex in Renfrew
