2025-2026 Coaches Announcement
Hello all, my name is Jamie Chartrand, and I will be the Head Coach of the U15AA Aces for the 2025-2026 season. This is a formal invite to the 2025-2026 U15 AA ACES tryouts. Players with the 2011 birth year are highly encouraged to try out!
Tryout dates will be as follows:
All tryouts will be held at the MY FM center in Renfrew.
May 03, 2025 - 5pm-6pm (all skate)
May 04, 2025 - 2pm-3pm (***ONLY GOALIES***)
May 10, 2025 - 5pm-6:30pm
May 11, 2025 - 5pm-6:30pm
May 12, 2025 - 8:30pm -10pm
May 15, 2025 - 8:30pm- 10pm
May 17, 2025 - 11am-12:30pm
All players will be evaluated during the tryouts based on the following criteria, which are listed by level of importance:
1) Attitude, body language, behavior
2) Work ethic
3) Respect and sportsmanship
4) Discipline
5) Hockey IQ
6) General hockey skills (skating, shooting, puck handling)
Please note, as a player you’re being evaluated from the minute you enter the rink, to the minute you leave the rink. All I ask is that all players give their full attention and effort to the coaches on and off the ice. Good luck to all players trying out and I am looking forward to seeing you all at the rink.
