U15B Aces are International Silver Stick Finalists!
Congratulations to the U15B Aces as they return from the International Silver Stick Finals Tournament in Forest ON as Finalists!
This past weekend the U15B Aces travelled to Forest Ontario for the International Silver Stick Finals Tournament where they played some very exciting hockey, including three over time wins! Friday's competition saw two wins over Penetang Flames and Mitchell Meteors. Saturday they started the day with a win over South Muskoka Bears, but later fell to the Lampton Shores Predators. They advanced to the semi-finals Sunday morning where they would once again face the Predators. They played their best game of the weekend to redeem themselves with an OT win earning a spot in the finals. Aces were unfortunately out matched by the South Huron Sabres who ended up taking home the title. The team showed incredible determination and resilience all weekend and we couldn't be more proud of their performance!
Additional congratulations goes out to Justin Allard and Greg Brisco who were 2 of only 6 All-Star Selections chosen by the tournament directors - way to go!
